Piacere! Questo e nient’altro è la vita! Bando alle angosce. Breve è il tempo del vivere. Subito a me, vino, danze, corone di fiori e donne. Voglio godere oggi. Oscuro è il domani. Pallada, (A.D. 485)

Winemakers since 1901

Four generations of tireless workers.
Children of the land and the memory
Traditions aren’t improvised or faked; they are the ripe fruit of the dreams, sweat and effort of those who dreamed them.
Guardians of the agricultural spirit
Bunch after bunch, harvest after harvest, for four generations our story has been forged on the foundations of a family legacy consisting of a mosaic of small vineyards spread over the most vocated hillsides of the Tiglione valley in Piedmont between the Langhe and Monferrato, and an approach to viticulture based on dedication to hard work and the utmost respect for the land.
Throughout our history, my predecessors have had to face the most challenging forces of nature and beyond: frosts, hailstorms, droughts, incessant rains, extreme summers, harsh winters, inclement springs and unlucky autumns, looting, pecuniary shortages, disputes, exodus...
It was not easy to withstand the challenges of fate. I feel immense gratefulness and pride today for being a descendant of the guardians of such an extreme way of life and viticulture.
Now, however, the time has come to combine all of this with having fun!
Having fun to show my ancestors that it is possible to work with a smile. That life is gentle.
That we already possess everything we need. That knowing how to receive is as important as knowing how to give. That it is important to work hard but it is more important to know how to love.
To have fun making wines that emphasize the conditions of well-being in which our plants live, making wines that are the result of the perfect symbiosis between the spiritual, physical and vegetative dimensions that have shaped our vines and our lives over the years.
To provide fun for those who will be lucky enough to taste our wines! To return to enjoy wine in its true essence!
That is why I am here. Help me! :)
And to eliminate some injustice
Thank you,
Gianluca
