Piacere! Questo e nient’altro è la vita! Bando alle angosce. Breve è il tempo del vivere. Subito a me, vino, danze, corone di fiori e donne. Voglio godere oggi. Oscuro è il domani. Pallada, (A.D. 485)

Sustainability is in the craftsmanship of things.

In treating employees as part of the family, in working the vineyards in person knowing every single vine.

In making wine from grapes from one’s own vineyards.

In working with a desire to do good for the Earth to nurture the source of all good.

Sustainability is giving the right value to a product that is the result of the sincere work of human beings.

Certifications are enough to be sustainable only on paper. Here we want to be sustainable in matter through creativity, art, humor, lightness, love, balance. Dissenting to the homogenization of tastes and ideas.

I come across, sometimes, a rhetorical and volatile sustainability, more and more a commercial tool prerogative of large corporations... that makes me chuckle...

So, fine! Let's make it a commercial tool! But let's make it ours! Of the artisans! Of those who get their hands dirty!

Not of a marketing department or of farmers with pianist's hands.

We may not be sustainable when we will be flooding the planet with our bottles traveling on these trucks or in these containers on these majestic ships.

But imagine the world filled with your smiles…. those are the most sustainable thing!

Thank you!
